Rockstar has named six regions of Leonida. Each one is a parody of a real corner of the state, and you can drive to all of them. These are the originals.

Art deco hotels, neon after the rain, and the most overdressed nightlife in America. Rockstar calls it the darkest side of the sunniest place in the country.

A chain of islands strung along one long road over jade water, where the bars open before lunch and nobody asks why.

Sawgrass to the horizon, airboats at the dock, and more alligators than people. The quietest place in the state, until it isn’t.

Port Gellhorn

Faded motels and sugar-white sand on the Gulf. The Florida the postcards skip, which is exactly why it’s in the game.

Cane fields, mills and burn season. The real Clewiston calls itself America’s Sweetest Town, with a straight face.

Florida has no mountains, so Rockstar invented one. The real wild is up north: spring-fed rivers, cypress and moss.
PS5 READY CHECK
Five things
before the 19th.
Clear the space.
There’s no official file size yet. Leaks put it near 200 GB and launch-day patches only add to that, so aim for 250 GB free. An original PS5 gives you about 667 GB to start with.
Pre-load on the 12th.
Digital copies can download a week early. Leave the console in rest mode with Settings › System › Power Saving › Features Available in Rest Mode › Stay Connected to the Internet switched on.
Tune the TV.
Turn on your TV’s Game Mode, then run Settings › Screen and Video › Video Output › Adjust HDR once, so sunsets don’t blow out.
Charge two controllers.
