Locate apps you rarely use in the storage list. Tap the app name and select Offload App to delete the application binary while keeping your local data and documents intact.
Note: If the app is no longer needed, select Delete App instead to remove all associated data.Clear Safari website data
Go to Settings and scroll down to Safari. Tap Clear History and Website Data, select All History, and confirm the action to purge cached web files and cookies.
Note: This will sign you out of most websites and clear your browsing history.Enable iCloud Photos optimization
Navigate to Settings, tap Photos, and ensure iCloud Photos is toggled on. Select Optimize iPad Storage to replace full-resolution media with smaller, space-efficient versions.
Note: Original high-resolution files will remain securely stored in iCloud.Manage large attachment files
Open the Messages app, tap Edit, and select Show Attachments. Identify high-resolution video or audio files taking up significant space and delete them individually or in bulk.
Note: Videos often occupy the most space in messaging threads.Restart the iPad
Perform a standard power cycle by shutting down the device and turning it back on. This clears temporary system caches and updates the available storage reporting.
Note: Rebooting ensures the system accurately reflects the newly cleared space.
