Open the profile management menu

Note: If you are not signed in, this icon may appear as a generic person silhouette.Add a new profile
Within the profile flyout menu, locate the 'Other profiles' section at the bottom. Click the '+ Add' button to initiate the profile creation wizard.
Choose sign-in preferences
Select 'Sign in' to sync bookmarks and history with an existing Google account, or select 'Continue without an account' to create a local-only profile. If choosing a local profile, enter a name for the profile and select a theme color.
Note: Assigning distinct colors to different profiles makes it easier to distinguish them at a glance.Enable browser synchronization
If you signed in, click 'Turn on sync' when prompted to ensure your data saves to your Google account. This links your extensions, passwords, and browsing history to this specific profile across all devices.
Toggle between active profiles
Click the profile icon again to view all available profiles. Select any profile from the list to launch a new, isolated browser window for that specific account.
Note: Chrome remembers your last active profile and will prioritize it upon relaunch.
