Set high heart rate alerts
Tap High Heart Rate. Select a Beats Per Minute (BPM) threshold from the provided options, ranging from 100 to 150 BPM. The Apple Watch will notify you if your heart rate remains at or above this level after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Note: Choose a higher threshold if you are a frequent athlete to avoid false alerts during exercise.Set low heart rate alerts
Return to the Heart menu and tap Low Heart Rate. Select a BPM threshold between 40 and 50 BPM. You will receive an alert if your heart rate drops below this level for 10 minutes.
Confirm notification settings
Navigate to the Health app on your iPhone and tap your profile picture. Select Health Checklist to ensure these alerts are active and reporting data correctly to your Health record.
Note: Ensure your Apple Watch is worn snugly to guarantee accurate sensor readings.
