Note: Keep your iPhone nearby throughout the entire migration process.Pair your new Apple Watch
Place your new Apple Watch near your iPhone until the pairing animation appears on the phone screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the device as new or restore from your most recent backup.
Initiate cellular setup
During the initial device setup, select Set Up Cellular when prompted. If you skipped this during setup, open the Watch app on your iPhone, select My Watch, tap Cellular, and choose Set Up Cellular.
Log in to your carrier account
The app will redirect you to your carrier's sign-in page. Enter your cellular account credentials to authorize the transfer of your existing plan to the new device hardware.
Note: Ensure your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi or a stable data network.Confirm activation status
Wait for the status indicator in the Cellular settings menu to show your carrier's name. Once the status changes from Activating to your carrier name, your plan is successfully migrated to the new watch.
Note: Restart the watch if the cellular status remains 'Activating' for more than 10 minutes.
