How to set up Apple Pay on Apple Watch

Step by step

    Open the Watch app

    Unlock your iPhone and launch the Watch app from your Home Screen. Ensure your iPhone is connected to your Apple Watch via Bluetooth.

    Locate Wallet & Apple Pay

    Select the My Watch tab at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down and tap on Wallet & Apple Pay to access your payment configurations.

    Add a new card

    Tap Add Card to initiate the registration process. Select either Debit or Credit Card from the list of options to proceed.

    Enter card details

    Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your card information manually or by positioning the card within the iPhone camera frame. Review the Terms and Conditions and tap Agree to continue.

    Note: If you already have a card in your Apple Wallet on your iPhone, you can simply tap the Add button next to that card to verify it on your watch.

    Verify with your bank

    Select your verification method provided by your bank, such as SMS code or email confirmation. Enter the code when prompted to finalize the activation of your card.
