Step by step
Check current storage usage
Open the Settings app on your smartwatch and navigate to General > Storage. Review the list to identify which applications occupy the most space.
Note: Look for large podcast or music files, as these are the most common culprits for full storage.Remove unused applications
Navigate to your app screen. Long-press on an icon until the apps begin to jiggle, then tap the 'X' button or 'Remove App' option. Confirm deletion to immediately reclaim the occupied storage space.
Note: Removing an app from your watch does not necessarily remove it from your connected smartphone.Clear offline music and podcasts
Open the music or podcast app on the watch. Locate the downloaded content folder and select the items you no longer require. Swipe left on the specific tracks or episodes and select Delete or Remove.
Note: Disable automatic syncing for podcasts in the smartphone companion app to prevent future storage buildup.Clear temporary cache files
Some devices allow clearing cache through the application settings menu. If your specific model lacks this, initiate a forced restart by holding both the side button and the digital crown until the logo appears to force the system to purge temporary log files.
Note: A restart is often the fastest way to clear non-essential system cache and logs.Confirm storage recovery
Return to Settings > General > Storage to verify the new Available capacity. Ensure the storage meter reflects the space reclaimed from the deleted files and applications.
Note: If space remains insufficient, consider unpairing and re-pairing the device to perform a clean sync of essential data only.
