Note: Toggle Bluetooth off and on again if the device remains disconnected.
  2. 1 min

    Confirm Health App Permissions

Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Health. Select your wearable's companion app from the list. Ensure that all requested data categories are toggled to the On position to allow write access to the Health database.

  3. 2 min

    Force a Manual Sync

Launch the companion app for your wearable. Locate the Sync or Refresh command, usually found within the dashboard or device settings menu. Pull down on the main screen to initiate a handshake between the wearable and the app.

Note: Ensure the companion app is running in the foreground during this process.

Check for Firmware and App Updates

Open the App Store and tap your profile icon to check for pending updates for your wearable's companion app. Simultaneously, check the device settings within the app to ensure the wearable firmware is on the latest version.

    Re-establish Data Source Priority

Open the Health app and tap the Browse tab. Select a data category, such as Steps, and scroll to Data Sources & Access. Ensure your wearable is listed as an active source and move it to the top of the priority list if other apps are interfering.
