Step by step

  1. 1 min

Open the Home app and access Room settings

Launch the Home app on your iPhone. Tap the More (...) button in the top right corner and select Room Settings from the drop-down menu.

Note: Ensure your iPhone is connected to the same iCloud account as your Home Hub.
  2. 1 min

    Select the target room

Locate the specific room you wish to add to a zone from the provided list. Tap the room name to open its configuration pane.

  3. 1 min

Assign a zone to the room

Tap the Zone field. Select an existing zone from the list or tap Create New to define a custom area, such as Upstairs or Ground Floor.

Note: Assigning a zone creates a logical grouping that Siri recognizes instantly.
  4. 30 sec

    Save your changes

Tap Done in the upper right corner of the screen to commit your changes. Repeat this process for every room you want to include in that specific zone.

  5. 30 sec

    Test your zone with Siri

Invoke Siri by saying Hey Siri or holding the Side button. Issue a command using the zone name, such as Turn off all lights in the Upstairs zone.

Note: Verify that all accessories in the assigned rooms respond simultaneously.
