Note: Edit mode allows you to move, resize, and remove tiles from your primary view.Reorder Accessories and Scenes
Drag and drop tiles to reposition them on your grid. Place your most-used lights, locks, or scenes at the top of the Home tab for immediate access upon opening the application.
Note: Changes to your layout sync automatically across all devices signed into the same iCloud account.Adjust Tile Dimensions
Tap the resize handle located on the corner of supported accessory tiles. Select the preferred tile size to expand key information or collapse less important devices to save space.
Note: Larger tiles provide more granular control and status data without opening the device details menu.Create and Manage Rooms
Navigate to the Rooms tab to group accessories by location. Use the Room menu to assign specific devices to new or existing rooms, ensuring your dashboard remains uncluttered and logically structured.
Note: Assigning accessories to rooms is required for accurate Siri voice control commands.Save Your Changes
Tap Done in the top right corner to exit Edit mode and save your new dashboard configuration. Verify the layout by toggling a scene or accessory to ensure responsiveness.
Note: If you are unhappy with the layout, you can re-enter Edit mode at any time to reset or shift your tiles.
