Click on the All Devices dropdown menu located at the top of the screen. Select your missing Mac from the list to display its current location on the map.
Note: If the device is offline, it will display the last known location and time.Enable Lost Mode
Click the Mark As Lost button in the device control panel. Follow the prompts to create a numeric passcode if your Mac does not currently have one set.
Note: Lost Mode remotely locks the Mac, preventing unauthorized access to your files.Display contact information
Enter a custom message and a phone number on the Lost Mode screen. This information will appear directly on your Mac's screen, allowing the finder to contact you without accessing your system.
Note: Ensure the phone number provided is one where you can be reached immediately.Erase the device
If you determine the Mac cannot be recovered, select Erase This Device. Confirm the action to remotely wipe all data, including personal files and stored payment information.
Note: Once erased, you can no longer track the device, and Find My will be disabled.
