Click the Options button located next to the Firewall toggle. This opens a modal window containing advanced parameters for incoming connection handling.
Set Connection Rules
Enable 'Block all incoming connections' if you require maximum security and do not use file sharing or remote login services. Alternatively, leave this disabled to allow essential services while maintaining per-application control.
Note: Blocking all incoming connections may interfere with printing or screen sharing.Define App Exceptions
Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons in the Options menu to add or remove specific applications. Set each application to either 'Allow incoming connections' or 'Block incoming connections' based on your security requirements.
Note: Only add applications from known, trusted developers.
