Step by step
Access your Phone settings
Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down until you locate the Phone icon, then tap it to open the Phone preferences menu.
Locate the Live Voicemail menu
Within the Phone settings screen, scroll to the section labeled Calls. Tap on Live Voicemail to view the feature toggles.
Enable the feature
Ensure the toggle switch next to Live Voicemail is set to the On position. When active, the switch will display a green background.
Note: If you are traveling internationally, Live Voicemail may incur roaming data charges depending on your carrier plan.Observe the incoming call interface
The next time you receive a call, let it ring without answering. The call will automatically be directed to Live Voicemail, and the transcription will appear in real-time on your Lock Screen.
Pick up the call
If the transcription indicates you wish to speak to the caller, tap the Accept button on the screen while they are still leaving the message. This interrupts the voicemail and connects you to the caller immediately.
Note: You can ignore or dismiss the call at any time by pressing the side button or locking the device.
