Step by step
Toggle Airplane Mode
Open Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner of your screen. Tap the Airplane Mode icon, wait ten seconds, and tap it again to re-enable cellular radios.
Note: This forces the baseband processor to re-initialize your cellular connection.Check Cellular Data Settings
Navigate to Settings > Cellular. Ensure the Cellular Data toggle is switched to the On position. Verify that your primary carrier plan is active under the SIMs section.
Check for Carrier Settings Updates
Go to Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear automatically within 15 seconds. If no prompt appears, your carrier settings are current.
Perform a Forced Restart
Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears on the display.
Note: A forced restart clears the temporary memory cache without deleting user data.Reset Network Settings
Navigate to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset. Select Reset Network Settings and confirm. This clears all saved Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth connections, and VPN configurations.
Note: Back up your device before performing a network reset, as this reverts all connectivity profiles to factory defaults.
