Step by step

  1. 1 min

    Open Google Password Manager

Open the Settings app on your phone. Scroll down and tap Passwords & accounts, then select Google under the Password Manager section to view all saved login credentials.

Note: Ensure your phone is updated to the latest security patch to access these settings.
  2. 1 min

    Audit saved credentials

Review the list of apps and websites. Tap any entry to view the stored username. If you no longer use an application, select it and tap Delete to remove the stored login data.

Note: Use the search bar at the top to quickly find specific apps.
  3. 1 min

    Review device access logs

Return to the main Settings menu. Tap Google, then select Manage your Google Account. Navigate to the Security tab and tap Your devices to see every active session currently logged into your account.

Note: Any device you do not recognize should be signed out immediately.
  4. 45 sec

    Manage third-party app permissions

In the Security tab of your Google Account, locate the Connections to third-party apps & services section. Tap See all connections to review which external apps have access to your account data.

Note: Removing access here forces the app to re-authenticate the next time you open it.
  5. 30 sec

    Enable security alerts

Within the Security tab, ensure that your recovery email and phone number are up to date. Verify that 2-Step Verification is toggled to On for maximum account protection.

Note: Regularly reviewing these logs prevents unauthorized persistent access.
