Note: Ensure your Wi-Fi is stable to prevent verification timeout errors.Acknowledge the secondary device prompt
If you have an existing device logged into the same account, a system prompt will appear on that device. Tap Yes or verify your identity via the biometric lock to approve the sign-in attempt on the new device.
Note: If you do not have your secondary device nearby, select Try another way on the new phone screen.Input the SMS verification code
Select the Text message option if a prompt does not appear on your secondary device. Wait for the six-digit numeric code to arrive via SMS and enter it into the verification field on your new Android device.
Note: Do not share this code with anyone, including support staff.Utilize backup codes if primary methods fail
If SMS delivery is delayed or unavailable, tap More options on the sign-in screen. Select the Use one of your 8-digit backup codes option and enter a valid code from your pre-saved backup list.
Note: Backup codes are one-time use only; invalidate them once used.Complete account synchronization
Once the code is accepted, your account will authenticate. Accept the Google Terms of Service and choose your preferred backup and location settings to finish the device setup process.
