Step by step
Clear your workspace surface
Remove all clutter from your desk to ensure the stand remains stable. Place the stand on a flat, non-slip surface directly in front of your primary seated position.
Note: Ensure the stand base is fully flush with the desk surface to prevent wobbling during typing.Set the stand height
Loosen the tension knobs or pull the riser arms to adjust the height. The top third of your laptop screen should be perfectly aligned with your natural eye level when you are sitting upright.
Note: If your stand uses a notched adjustment mechanism, ensure both sides are locked into identical slots.Adjust the tilt angle
Tilt the laptop platform to an angle that allows for comfortable viewing without glare. Aim for an angle between 20 and 30 degrees to minimize wrist extension if you are using the laptop keyboard in an emergency, though external peripherals are recommended.
Secure the laptop
Place your laptop on the stand, ensuring the rear edges are locked against the stand's security hooks or rubber grips. Gently press down on the device to verify it is balanced and does not tip forward.
Note: Check that the laptop vents are not obstructed by the stand's support structure to maintain airflow.Connect external peripherals
Place your external keyboard and mouse on the desk surface at a height that allows your elbows to maintain a 90-degree angle. Pair your devices via Bluetooth or connect them to your USB-C hub.
Note: Using an external keyboard is essential to maintain ergonomic posture while the laptop is elevated.
