The Story

Six weeks ago I was writing prompts in a chat window.

Last night I had nine Claude Code instances running simultaneously, auditing every project across this entire network. No developer. No team. No technical background. Just a property manager in Atlanta who decided to figure it out.

I'm not telling you that to impress you. I'm telling you because six weeks is not a long time. And the gap between where I was and where I am is not talent. It's a specific sequence of moves — a configuration file, a handful of skills, and the willingness to stop being scared of the terminal.

The information is free on GitHub. It's been there the whole time. The problem isn't access. The problem is that nobody has translated it for the person who knows what they want to accomplish but doesn't speak developer.

This product is that translation. My configuration. My skills. My sequence. Packaged so you can skip the six weeks of trial and error and get to the part where Claude is actually building things for you.

From chat window to nine instances running.

1
Week 1
Persona prompts in a chat window
Writing AI characters. Installing them in Claude. Selling them as digital products. No code. No terminal. No idea what Claude Code even was.
2
Week 2–3
First real build. First real wall.
Lovable got expensive fast. Every iteration cost credits. The app was mine but the code didn't feel like mine. Something had to change.
3
Week 4
Claude Code. The terminal. The fear.
First time opening the terminal on purpose. First Claude.md file. First time Claude started behaving like it knew what I was building instead of starting from zero every session.
4
Week 5
The design skills. The difference.
Claude is an extraordinary engineer and a terrible designer. Found three or four skills that changed that. Suddenly the builds looked like a human made them.
5
Week 6 — Now
Nine instances. One network.
Running The HowTo Network, The Forge, DoorBase, and four other properties simultaneously. From a phone and a laptop. By myself.

The Design Skills

The three or four GitHub skills that fix Claude's worst problem — it engineers beautifully and designs terribly. Plain-language install guides for each one. No terminal confidence required.

The Thinking Behind It

Not just what to install — why. The decisions that changed how I build. The mistakes that cost me time. The shortcuts I wish I had on week one.

Ongoing

The person six weeks behind where I am right now.

The Living Product

You're not buying a file. You're buying access to what's working right now.

Most digital products go stale the week after you buy them. A PDF from six months ago doesn't know about the skills that dropped last month or the configuration change that cut my build time in half.

This product updates when I update. When I find something that changes how I work, it goes in. You get a notification. You open the same link you've always had. The new version is there.

One purchase. No subscriptions. No upgrade prompts. The product gets better as long as I'm building — and I'm not stopping.
